Jimmy Stewart and a partner worked together at a local automotive company. After acquiring a vast knowledge base; they decided to venture out on their own. Jimmy continued working for the local company while his partner initiated the startup. After 6 months, both partners were full time at S & H Automation.

Extensive knowledge and quality machines quickly moved them to success and growth. Jimmy’s wife, Barb also active in the business; ran the office and financials and then moved to wiring and programming the machinery. Jimmy’s children, two sons and a daughter joined the team to learn the ins and outs. His sons around the age 17 and 15, worked to help achieve what is today a 24,000 square ft. successful business.

In 1997 Jimmy and his partner separated and both sons stepped in to help run the business. Fast forward to now, Jimmy and Barb have since retired to enjoy life and his son Jon runs the business full time.

Keeping with family tradition, Jon’s wife Emily works in the office and his son Jerid helps in many aspects. Jerid turned in his application at the young age of 6 years, determined to one day be involved in the business. Since that time he has acquired many skills such as welding, machining, machine-building and machine design using CAD software. Jerid is just one of the skilled employees to help to achieve success.

S & H Automation has CNC machining, design capabilities and 3 tool rooms allowing a majority of tooling to be produced in house.
